Wisdom Teeth

We specialise in Wisdom Teeth removal and removal of any other broken down teeth. This can be one in our surgery rooms or under Sedation.

Third molar (wisdom tooth) are the last tooth to develop. They grow inside the bone at the back of the mouth. If the jaws do not grow long enough the third molars stay trapped (impacted) inside the bone.

Impacted third molars can cause a number of problems including: a dull pain in the jaws; infection in the overlying gums; or damage to the tooth in front. Impacted lower wisdom teeth may also push other teeth forwards and make the lower front teeth become more crooked.  In the rare occasion untreated impacted wisdom teeth may form a cyst.

Impacted third molars are best remove before they cause one or more of the above problems.

This procedure is often carry out at Best Western Dental Centre under local anaesthetic after initial consultation with Dr. Nathan Le.

We are providing Oral Surgery treatments for patients from Penrith and surrounding areas including Windsor, St Marys, Mount Druitt and Rooty Hill…
